Here are some of the Boss products that we have for sale.
Snow Box Plow: These plows are an excellent option for pushing snow straight ahead, without doing any potential damage to the asphalt or surface below. They are rectangular in shape and typically connect to a skid steer, a backhoe, a tractor, or a forklift. They come in a variety of sizes; we offer both eight and ten foot options. The larger the box plow, the more horsepower is necessary on the operating vehicle.
Many people opt for the box plow option because of its quick and efficient plowing ability, as well as the clean lines that it creates. Other plows are angular, pushing the snow in an outward motion, but box plows are squared off and push the snow towards a specific destination.
Snow Plows: Snow plows typically attach to a large vehicle and are used to get as much snow cleared as possible. They are angled and push the snow outward, allowing you to maintain a consistent pace for a longer amount of time. They are ideal for independent contractors or plowing service companies. We offer a wide range of plow sales, including the models listed below.
- VXT: This model is known for its flared blade wings, which push the snow higher, and further out of the way than most traditional plows. It also has a AR450 wear plate that helps to prevent damage from obstacles in the road. It comes in poly, steel, or stainless steel.
- DXT: This model utilizes a full moldboard trip and trip-edge to increase protection all the way down. If you hit an obstacle, such a snowbank or a pothole, it’s less likely to accrue damage. It has enough curve to throw snow effectively to the side with incredible strength. Additionally it utilizes ice shield technology and LED lighting to avoid ice buildup. A Boss patented snow catcher helps to ensure that pathways are cleared effectively.
- HTX: This plow is beneficial for smaller jobs, such as neighborhoods and parking lots because it is specifically designed for half-ton trucks. They don’t require as much horsepower or size behind them, but still have the same effective result as a straight-edged plow. These are curved with a straight top and bottom. It can be made up of mild steel, stainless steel, or poly. The blade will drop forward when encountering something on the road, which can help to protect the truck.
UTV/ATV: If you have a UTV or an ATV, we have full-sized options that will help clear snow from smaller spaces. You can opt for curved edges or straight-blade versions, allowing you to choose the best options for your needs. Additionally, the attachment design allows your vehicle to still function on trails when the plow is not attached. It also comes with the same moldboard trip design as the larger models to prevent damage when hitting an obstacle on the trail or road. You can also avoid having to attach them with chains and pulleys, as they function through hydraulics.
In addition to plowing snow, it’s critical to salt the roads in order to prevent ice build up. Cold temperatures often lead to dangerous road conditions. Black ice and slick roads are common causes for road accidents. We sell boss salters, which are top of the line and work quickly and efficiently to reduce the black ice on the roads. There are two different models.
Tailgate Salt Spreader: This salt spreader attaches to the rear tailgate of your truck. The location prevents it from obstructing your vision while driving. It’s designed to be waterproof, so that moisture doesn’t come in and saturate the salt. The spreader disperses the salt across the back of the truck as you drive, allowing you to effectively cover an area in a timely fashion.
In-Bed Salter: These salters are designed to salt a much larger area than the tailgate spreader. A large container is situated in the bed of your truck. The tailgate is down, and a spreader hangs over the edge, and disperses the salt as you drive. Since the container takes up most of the truck bed, it holds a much larger volume of salt, making it the perfect option for community plowing contracts.
